Caterina Sotiriadis has taught modern languages in the public school system in Manitoba, in the Faculties of Education and Arts at the University of Manitoba, at the University of Winnipeg and at the Université de Caen in France. 

For many years, Ms. Sotiriadis was a French consultant with the Bureau de l’éducation française in Manitoba. Today, she is an independent education consultant, and offers training and consulting services to various learning institutions, associations and government bodies across Canada. She has written several educational works for Nelson Canada, Tralco and Oxford University Press, in addition to authoring several creative non-fiction pieces.

Ms. Sotiriadis has held executive positions on various national Boards of Directors and local volunteer organizations, including as past President of the Canadian Association of Second Language Teachers, Secretary-Treasurer of the Association of Italian Canadian Writers and past President of the Dante Alighieri Italian Cultural Society in Winnipeg. She is currently President of the Sons of Italy, Lupa di Roma Lodge. Over the course of her career, she has chaired several provincial and national conferences on languages and culture.
